How to get the Most out of Your Android Battery

iRepair Android Post

Android Battery Life

iRepair Android ImageAndroids are powerful phones, capable of a lot. You would assume that this means the phone would get amazing battery life. Some do, but most android users are lucky to get a full day worth of battery life from one charge, myself being included. I normally charge it at night when I go to sleep and have a full battery for the next morning. I do have to charge it later in the day because it will get below twenty percent charge before I can even blink. It could be my charging habits though which diminished the battery over time of use.

Background Apps

Something you might not realize is that any apps you have opened are still running in the background and is consuming your phone’s battery life. An easy way to fix that would be to go to your Settings and clicking on Apps. This lets you see what is running in the background and what you can force stop to extend the life of your phone that day. It’s also good if you get one of those apps like Clean Master that clean any junk within the phone that you don’t need. It is great for an Android. This helps you determine what you need and what you don’t for your phone memory and battery. I use it and it works wonders. Also take off those widgets and live wallpapers. A plain black screen saver can actually increase your battery life if you have an AMOLED screen because it doesn’t have to light the black pixels.

Power Saver

This is an amazing feature comes with Androids. You flip this on in Settings or some phones have it in the slide down menu. It will cut out all the things you don’t need or shut off some background apps. When you do this it will also effect your screen brightness, but it isn’t too bad. I keep it on a lot when at work or when I need to. If you follow these couple of tips, you should make your Android battery last a full day. If anything else is wrong with your phone though, no matter what kind. It can be an Android, Windows, or an iPhone. Come see us at iRepair of Panama City!
